Dr. Kathy Murphy, CEO is pleased to announce the company is experiencing growth in all three service lines: Outreach Management, Operations Management, and Benchmarking. “While best known for improving laboratory operations, Chi’s core business is creating new outreach programs and strengthening existing ones,” says Dr. Murphy. “We have hired Victoria Peterson to oversee the growth and development of this service line.”
In addition, Jeff Myers, CPA, has joined Chi as Chief Financial Officer. “Mr. Myers is focused on directing the financial management of Chi as a stand-alone company as well as further developing the finance service line. With more than ten years of executive-level financial experience in the healthcare industry, his expertise will benefit both Chi and its clients,” says Earl Buck, COO.
Chi employees continue to develop professionally and contribute to the healthcare industry and Chi’s knowledge base. Most recently, Anne Daley, MS, Senior Consultant, and Nora Hess, MBA, Operations Managing Consultant, were appointed to the Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute project entitled “CLSI Project on Laboratory Internal Audit Program.”
Chi employees will be speaking at several upcoming industry events. “LEANing Diagnostic Services,” an audio conference hosted by Inquisit, will be presented by Anne Daley, September 22nd. Dr. Murphy will present the audio conference “Top Five Outreach Industry Trends,” hosted by PSA, September 23rd. A Washington G-2 Reports webinar entitled “Healthcare Reform: Implications and Opportunities for the Laboratory Industry” will feature speakers Dr. Murphy and Michael Metzler September 29th. Mr. Buck will be presenting “Secrets for Improving Laboratory Profitability: Proven Tips and Techniques” at Laboratory Institute 2010 October 14th.
